Quickly determine if it's natural gas!

Natural gas includes ethane, but sewer gas does not. The portable Sewerin Variotec EGA (Ethane Gas Analyzer) measures methane, ethane and propane levels and indicates the presence of each to determine whether the source is from natural gas.  If too low of levels of ethane are measured, the gas source is not natural gas.

The portable Sewerin EGA (Ethane Gas Analyzer) uses the internal gas chromatograph and highly sensitive semiconductor sensor to determine methane, ethane and propane levels. As the analysis progresses, level of methane, propane and ethane are graphed. Then analysis results: Yes (definitely), ???? (possible), ---- (not present) are identified for each gas.
